About
A companion module for the Foundry VTT module Core Clock that sets scene moods based on time of day.
It reacts to time progression announced by Core Clock and applies:
- Auto scene lighting by day phase
- Day/night ambience playlists
- Day/night scene playlist hijack
- Dawn/dusk transition cues
Compatibility
- Foundry VTT 14
- Dragonbane/Drakar och Demoner 4.x
- Requires the Core Clock
Installation
In Foundry VTT, go to Add-on Modules → Install module and enter the manifest url: https://code.chuggybumba.com/thanius/light-set-action/raw/branch/main/module.json
Configuration
- Open Scene configuration.
- In the Core Clock section:
- Enable Auto lighting if you want scene darkness to follow time of day
- Enable Scene audio cues
- Configure day/night ambience
- Configure day/night scene playlist hijack (optional)
- Configure dawn/dusk transition cues (optional)
Integration
The module listens to Core Clock hooks:
coreClock.timeCommittedcoreClock.timeAdvancedcoreClock.displayAnimated(starts the lighting change together with the HUD progress bar, over the same duration)
It also exposes a small API on this module:
setSceneAutoLighting(sceneId, enabled)syncSceneMoodNow()
