wmTrayDock

A system tray application for use with the Window Maker windowmanager. It is based on the code of Docker 1.5 by Ben Jansens. The original README is available in the file README.orig. Since the original software is intended as a systray for different window managers, I've decided to rollback the version to 1.0 with this release, to indicate that this is a new product.

FEATURES

• Small (default) and large icons
• Pagination, swap page by scrolling on the background (not the border)
• Notifying apps should have their icon placed in the first position of the first page, and that page is then opened automatically
• Shows StatusNotifierItem/AppIndicator icons (the ones in GNOME's or KDE's tray) alongside classic XEmbed icons. Left click activates, middle click is secondary activate, right click opens the app's menu (submenus open on click, Escape or a click outside closes it), scrolling is forwarded
• Hide icons: double right-click the background to get a checklist of icons; ticked ones are hidden. The list is kept in ~/.config/wmtraydock/hidden, one app name per line

INSTALL

Build dependencies: Xlib, Xpm, Xext, Xft, GLib/GIO and gdk-pixbuf (libx11-dev libxpm-dev libxext-dev libxft-dev libglib2.0-dev libgdk-pixbuf-2.0-dev on Debian/Ubuntu).

This will compile and install under /usr/local:

make && sudo make install

If you want to install under a different path, update the Makefile.
